The main similarity is that they are both a set of rules people of their own religion should follow, and when they are completed they show a respect and dedication to one's religion. The main difference between them is that the 5 Pillars, which is apart of Islam have more praying and making sure you are reminded of Allah everyday, and The Commandments which are apart of Christianity have more of a just set rules without actual physically being reminded everyday such as pray towards Mecca.
